RULES

Please read the rules carefully prior to coming to the studio in order to protect both you and the studio and continue keeping it a safe creative space for anyone who wishes to use it. We try to keep our prices reasonable to make it easy for creatives to access for their needs.

Studio sessions are by APPOINTMENT ONLY through PEERSPACE. If you wish to tour the studio, appointments need to be made in advance. Our hours vary daily based upon the bookings we have scheduled and we cannot guarantee to be available unless you make an appointment with us in advance.

The renter must leave the facility in the same condition as when they began (CLEAN AND ORGANIZED). In the event that the facility is not returned to its original state, the renter will be subjected to a cleaning fee of $50. In the event that any equipment, fixtures, furniture, etc. are abused, broken or stolen during the rental of the studio, the renter shall be held responsible and will be subject to repair/replacement costs.

The time booked does not indicate shoot time, it is the time you are admitted into the studio and the time you are required to have cleaned and exited. Going over the allotted booking time will result in the additional $50 fee. The staff of Light Hero Studios will give you a 15 minute heads up near the end of your booking time.

Rental fee is due at time of booking. No exceptions.

Absolutely NO smoking, drugs, or alcohol is permitted at Light Hero Studios. Please be mindful of those who are coming after you, often families and children utilize the facility.

Tasteful, provocative images are acceptable. However, we do not condone pornographic photography. Please note that there are cameras in the facility and we can check in at any time. It is advised that any changing happens in the restroom.

Banned items include glitter, tinsel, smoke bombs, hay, colored powder and charcoal powder. If you are using any similar materials, please contact us beforehand so that we may best assist you.

Do NOT step on the curve of the cyclorama wall. It is not meant to be stepped on and may result with breakage. In the event that the wall is damaged, renter will be held responsible for the cost of damages. The repair fee is $150.

Mind the noise level (music) and be respectful of our neighbors.

Light Hero Studios Terms & Conditions

Use of Light Hero Studios is at RENTERS OWN RISK. Renter hereby waives rights to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and/or loss while on our premises. Renter agrees to leave the studio, equipment and adjacent grounds in the same condition as they were when the Renter arrived. Renter is solely responsible for any legal infractions Renter or members of Renter's party make during the conduct of the shoot, be they in our studio or elsewhere. This includes parking tickets, all other violation or citations and legal action resulting from the conduct of the shoot, taken at whatever time. Renter agrees to hold harmless Light Hero Studios, its owner, agents, representatives and contractors acting on Light Hero Studios behalf for any loss, accident or injury to Renter's self or anyone who accompanies renter while on our premises. At any time Light Hero Studios may refuse and cancel service to any renter for any reason, in which case renter will be reimbursed the full amount of booking and Light Hero Studios will not be held responsible for any inconveniences including rebooking, financial, or legal actions.

Renter understands that if Light Hero Studios observes dangerous or negligent practices or activities that are being engaged in by the Renter and/or the Renter's party, Light Hero Studios reserves the right to stop the shoot and require Renter and Renter's party to leave immediately - HOWEVER, Studio assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY to act in such cases. Renter agrees to hold Light Hero Studios, its agents, representatives, and anyone acting on behalf of Light Hero Studios completely harmless from any action, legal or otherwise that results from Renter's conduct. Renter is solely responsible for verifying that all persons employed by Renter during Renter's rental period with Light Hero Studios LLC are of legal age for the activities they are to be engaged in. Light Hero Studios has no responsibility to determine or verify the age of participants in the Renter's activities but reserves the right to end those activities if it becomes aware that legal age violations are on going. Renter agrees that at least (1) Light Hero Studios representative will be monitoring video at all times while Renter is using it.

Light Hero Studios is not responsible for any personal items left behind in the studio by the Renter or Renter's party. If items are left without notice, it will be disposed of at the end of the Renter's booking.

How do I Book the Studio?

You can book the studio through Peerspace's booking system. We highly recommend downloading the app to more efficiently view your booking. You'll also be able to rent add on's through the booking process like wings or clothing.

Can I Rent Lights/Props Outside of the Studio?

Currently this is something that is being developed and pretty soon there will be several props/wardrobe for you to rent outside of the studio.

Can I Bring my Dog/Pet/Animal?

This is super subjective and highly depends on the behavior of your animal. We generally discourage this, but you are more than welcome to inquire.

May I Come Early to Set Up for My Booking?

No, the booking time indicates when you are admitted into the studio. Booking times indicate when the studio must be cleaned and exited. Exceeding the time booked will result in additional fees. There may be another client booked back-to-back with your booking, so please be considerate of their paid time.

Can I Start Booking on the Half Hour or Extend My Time if I Need by Half an Hour?

Half hour bookings and extensions are available per request, per availability.

Can I Host a Workshop at the Studio?

ABSOLUTELY. We love to have all sorts of events at our studio and if you are looking to host a workshop, let's get in contact.

Can I Come Early to use the Makeup Station?

No, use of the makeup room is included in your booking time. There may also be another client booked back-to-back with your booking, so please be considerate of their paid time.

Can I Bring My Own Props Into the Studio?

For the most part you can bring whatever you like into the studio as long as it will fit and as long as it wont cause damage to the facility. We have had clients bring in anything from couches, to tables to fake walls and balloon setups.
